Sleeping Beauty

Once upon a time, there lived a king and a queen in a palace. The queen has just give a baby. So they invited all the people to the new born party. 

In the middle of the party, came a witch. She was so angry knowing that she wasn’t invited to the party. “ you all made me so mad and angry! Why didn’t you invited me instead of the weak little fairies there!” she said angrily while pointed to the fairies. 

Everyone begun to afraid. Suddenly the baby cried loudly. The voices made the witch realized back and come nearer to the baby. “you! You’re the reason! Some day you will prick your finger on a spindle and die!” she cursed the baby and went away with a loud laugh. 

“oh no, how’s this, can you help her fairies?” the queen cried and asked for the fairies’ help. 

“I will try your majesty” The fairies came to the baby and gave her blessed. 

“oh no, I’m so sorry your majesty, I cant cancel the spell. I just can changed it, she will not die, but she will only sleep for a thousand years. I’m so sorry your majesty” The queen begun to cry again. 

The following day, the king made a rule to burn any spindle tools in the kingdom. He thought by doing so, he could save his daughter. 

Time passed by. The princess grew up to a beautiful lady. 

One day, the princess walked around with her girl companions. The girl companions were busy talking each other. They didn’t pay any attention to the princess. Until the princess found an old wooden door. 

She was so curios. She knocked the door and greet. “hello? Anybody there?” 

“i'm here, princess, come in!” someone shouted. She came in and met an old woman was spinning using a spindle. “excuse me grandma, what’s that? I’ve never seen it before” 

“this is a spindle, princess. Come nearer and you will be able to do it soon. I’ll show you how. It is so easy” pursued the lady.

The princess came nearer and tried the spindle. A minute later, as the witch has said in the past, the princess will prick her finger on a spindle. And it was real then, she pricked her finger and fell down. The old woman turned back to the witch and laughed. “hahahaha! Feel it princess, you will die, FOREVER!” the witch went away and laughed. 

On the next day, the king finally found the sleeping princess and took her to the palace. He also invited the fairies. 

“abracadabra, you will awake my princess, if someday your soulmate will found you here and save your life. But for the exchange, all people here will be asleep too” the fairies spelled the magical words.

Everyone in palace were slept after the fairies said the spell. For a thousand years, the palace has been forgotten by everyone. 

Until, a prince came to the palace and was so curios “hmm I’ve never been here before. Why is so quiet here?” 

The prince came to the palace and found many people were asleep there. “so strange, why do these people sleep together on the afternoon?” 

Finally, he found the sleeping princess and fell in love with her “how beautiful she is” He came nearer to the princess, and kissed the cheek. 

Magically, the princess awoke, and so do the people. The princess saw the prince and fell in love to. “thank you, you saved my life and my people’s life. What can I do for you to reply it?” 

“just marry me princess, and it will be more enough” asked the prince.

“of course” the princess smiled.

Then they got married. And lived happily ever after.
